July 4th, 2011

We spent the 4th of July weekend on the go :) First, we went to my cousin Mason's wedding in Ft.Worth. Taking a 2 year old to a wedding wasn't quite the ideal situation ... but we survived :) After that we headed to my Aunt Elaine's lake house on Lake Brownwood. We all had a blast boating, swimming & jet-skiing! Here's a few pics from our trip ...

Summer Pool Fun / Father's Day

Even though it's HOT HOT HOT ... little miss wants to "go wim" (Swim) every chance she can! We went to her friend Tye's house for his 3rd birthday and she had a blast!

It's a BOY

I'm sure you've all heard by now that Madison will have a little brother in December! We are very excited that we will now have one of each and are looking forward to meeting this little munchkin :) So far, the pregnancy is going well (that is if I don't skip my naps!) All of his genetic screening tests came back with excellent scores and is very healthy. We have a lot of shopping to do from now until Dec!!!

Summer Fun

It's H-O-T outside !!!! Madison is keeping mommy super busy this summer ... We are trying to find indoor fun things to do or stay in the water as much as possible :) June has been a very successful month for little Miss Priss. Madison is FINALLY talking up the storm (mostly in phrases and some sentences). We understand about 90% of it, ha! Also, she's finally learned to sleep in her OWN bed at night and for naps.... 2 1/2 years later. The whole process went much smoother than any of us anticipated. She's very excited and proud of herself when it comes to "night night" time :) Other than that, we are staying busy. Daddy just celebrated his 32nd birthday last week and next week we will find out the gender of Baby Penley #2 .... dum dum dum ..... We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and staying cool :)
