Getting Ready For Christmas!

Terrible, I know ... I haven't updated this since Halloween.... Probably because every spare minute I get I've been trying to rest :) That doesn't happen often with an active "almost" 3 year old! Anyway, we have been busy the last few weeks getting ready for our last Christmas as a family of 3! Madison is doing great and is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Maddox. We'll see if she feels the same way after he's here in a couple weeks! Lately, she has really started to talk well (longer phrases / small sentences). I think her going to preschool MDO has really helped her. She LOVES school! When I pick her up she always tells me "I fun kool ... go again!" If only she could go more than 2 days a week ... we would ALL benefit from that LOL!!!

Here's a few pictures from the last month or so. We enjoyed Thanksgiving in Victoria with Chad's family. Hopefully we will be able to post pics soon after Christmas and when Maddox arrives. Most of you already know that he will be here soon. I am still going to the doctor weekly, but if nothing progresses within the next 2 weeks, I will be induced on December 27th. Please pray for a smooth delivery and most of all for Maddox to come out healthy! We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year :)

Halloween 2011

This year for Halloween Madison was Alice In The Wonderland and Tristan was Superman! They had a blast dressing up for sure :) We went to dinner then to a local church that had a festival with a toddler section ... inside (that was the best part ha)! They loved jumping and sliding in the bouncy house, went fishing for ducks and all kinds of other fun. Here's a few pics from Monday... Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween :)

Long Week!

It's been a long week .... and I think it's going to be a long 9 weeks ahead! Most of you know I had to spend 2 nights in the hospital this week :( I woke up early Monday morning nauseous / vomiting with a stomach bug. By 9pm that night I was getting worse and very dehydrated, which led to my uterus begin to contract every 4-5 minutes. Long story short ... it's way too erly for little Maddox to come into this world, so I spend 2 nights on IV's to re-hydrate my body and special meds to make me finally stop contracting. I'm doing better everyday and trying to take it easy ... but with a 2 1/2 year old that's a challenge! I'm very blessed to have a great family that helped out greatly with taking care of Madison all week! Hopefully I won't be walking through those hospital doors again until late December!

Today I had one of my last ultra-sounds. The images on the screen we saw were really good ... but the pics are kind of hard to figure out. He is moving around bunches and looks precious. We can't wait to meet him soon!!!

Cousins and Pumpkins

Madison enjoyed playing with her cousins allllllll weekend long :) She is still asking where they are, ha! Chad's side of the family came in town so we ventured out to the Pumpkin Patch. It would've been MUCH more enjoyable if it weren't SO HOT :( Anyway, we tried to make the best of it and got a few decent pics ....
