Our little cowgirl had a great time at the rodeo this year! She loves her books / puzzles at home with farm animals in it and knows all the sounds each one makes ... so to see real animals really thrilled her :) She did well, except she thought the rabbits were kittys and kept saying "meow"! LOL Overall she did really well and lasted 5 hours!!! Maybe next year she can do some of itty-bitty rides at the carnival :)

Backyard fun!

Yea for Spring Break! Mommy and Madison definately need a break and are enjoying a relaxing week. Madison is getting over a bad sinus and ear infection, but getting better everyday :) Daddy bought his little princess a new playset for the backyard. She would stay outside ALL day if she had it her way, no kidding! We plan to have play-dates, shop and go to the rodeo later this week! How many more days until May 26th? jk

Little Miss Priss is getting ready for the rodeo. We're planning on going at the end of this week! Madison is obsessed with animals ... so I'm sure she'll enjoy the livestock show!

Valentine's Week!

Of course we celebrated Valentine's Day alllll week long :) Madison had a little party at her pre-school and we dressed up all week! She definately knows when we are taking a picture, as the word "cheeeeeese" is a recent addition to her vocabulary! She's trying to say new words everyday so we're getting very very close to talking for real ... I'm ready because I'm tired of guessing what she wants, ha! Today we went to the mall and she had a ball playing in the kids play area. We've never gone there, but since it was a weekday it was nice since it wasn't crowded. She was skeptical at first, but had a great time :) I don't like our President, but I sure do like the day off from work!!! Anyway, we are now getting ready for the rodeo next ... and Spring Break - wooooo hoooooo!

Madison's 2nd Birthday!

Our little cupcake turned 2 on February 3rd! It's crazy to think 2 years have already gone by ... but, we can't imagine life without her! She is on the edge of talking and definately understands everything we say. There's not a moment that goes by that she's not "busy" doing something! It seems like she learns a new "trick" or word everyday. We had a great time celebrating her birthday last Saturday ... despite the cold and icky weather (no, we didn't end up seeing any snow...) She definately had fun playing with her little girlfriends! Here's a few pics from the last week....
