The nursery is slowly coming together. It doesn't look like much besides paint so far, but the crib is on order and the bedding is in. Chad finished painting and installing a fan a couple weeks ago. His "name" for the wall came in yesterday ... Madison felt she had to pose for that pic. I will update it as soon as the fruniture arrives ... :) Everything else is going well. I feel pretty good most days - just HOT :( He has been kicking like crazy, so it's neat to feel him, especially after I eat and lay down. Here's a few pics ...

MDO & Haircut
Madison is starting her first week of Mother's Day Out at a church right by our house. We had "meet the teacher" today and she got to meet her classmates and stay to play for an hour. She had a blast ... of course, Mommy was right there with her .... we'll see how tomorrow goes! Anyway, her teachers are super sweet and I think she'll have a great time once she gets used to it :) It's so cute ... she wakes up and tells me she wants to go to "cool" and "pay"!
Ready to go!
Play-Doh was definately a favorite

20 Months ... Half Way Mark!!!!
First of all, we have decided on a name for baby Penley #2 ... Maddox Blake Penley :-) Today I had my 20 week sonogram. We are very thankful that everything looks great so far! He was curled up in a little ball snoozing away. I have felt pretty strong flutters the past week or two which is really neat, given I rarely felt Madison due to her placement. Anyway, here are a few pictures from today .... they are kind of hard to make out, but the explainations may help some. We can't wait to meet our little man :-)
Here he's laying on his back & curled up / profile of face
Side of head, you can see his little nose and lips :)
Here's his face on the left ... you can see the eyes and brain.
The genetics blood test earlier didn't lie ... he is a BOY!
Strong heartbeat (143)
This is the previous ultra-sound - but a good profile pic :)
August Fun
It's been hot hot hot ... but we've managed to try and have some outdoor fun and stay busy this summer. Tristan and Maddy are learning to "s-h-a-r-e" ... well, kinda. Madison is talking up the storm finally ... it's so cute! There are times she says a phrase over and over and we have no clue what she's saying, but for the most part she's doing great! We've been gathering things up and putting it in the baby nursery and she loves to help. She does point to my tummy and say "baby" (sounds more like "bebe") and grins ... we will see if she's still grinning in 4 more months, ha! Also, she is starting her new Mother's Day Out program in 2 weeks at a church very close to our house. Mommy will get a break 2 times a week - woo hoo! Here's a few pics from August....
Putting my feet up for a little ice cream break :)
Tristan and Madison ... shopping adventure
Eating ketchup for the FIRST time ... Daddy is SOOOO proud! We now dip everything in ketchup :-)
