7 Week Ultra Sound

Chad and I went to our first ultra sound today and we now have a peace of mind that our little one exist and has a good heartbeat :) If you're wondering where it is in the picture it's under the word "baby". It's about the size of a gummy bear. We will keep you all updated!

We're Pregnant!

Who would've thunk? JK

Chad and I are very excited to announce our little Baby Penley will arrive around Valentines Day, February 14th, 2009 if all goes as planned :-)

Sunday morning I had suspision that something was up ... so I took a pregnancy test at home and was quite shocked (as I locked myself in the closet as you can see below - ha!)

We went on to church (not that I could pay attention whatsoever) as I collected my thoughts. I took a 2nd test and it came out positive too so I told my mom asap. She was thrilled, naturally. I wanted to tell Chad in a special way so mom and I went shopping ... I got him an early Father's Day card and a little Baylor baby outfit ... and a UT paciffier (for him of course).

When he opened up all the gifts he was smiling bigger than ever but no words would come out - it was hallarious! Needless to say, we are both very excited! Also - talk about randomness - my sister-n-law is due the same week I am!

Chad's 29th Birthday

My OLD husband is about to leave his 20's soon .... LOL. We celebrated his 29th birthday last weekend. We went out with some friends friday night and then out with the family Saturday to Shogun Japanese Grill where they cook in front of you etc... very fun - and yummy!!! Next year is the biggie though!
